Children’s Ministry Day 2010

Get ready to join the Home Team!

On February 20, 2010, lead your children’s group to participate in a hands-on ministry project in your own community. Find a way to meet housing needs right where you live.

You’ll be part of a growing movement of children and leaders making a difference across North America—and around the world. We estimate that more than 15,000 children will participate in Children’s Ministry Day (CMD) 2010!

What type of ministry should you plan? Your group might lead a block party for a multi-housing complex. You might make light repairs on the homes of shut-ins. Or you might provide supplies for families who have just moved into new houses. The possibilities are endless!

Look at the needs in your own community. Refer to the ideas in the Children’s Ministry Day 2010 Promotion Pack. Share ideas with other leaders. Pray. Then create a plan!

The Children’s Ministry Day 2010 theme verse is “We work together with God” (1 Corinthians 3:9 NIrV). All children and leaders around the world are invited to work together on the Home Team on this special day.

Visit www.childrensmissions.com throughout the year for more information about Children’s Ministry Day 2010. You’ll also learn more about CMD resources, including the Children’s Ministry Day 2010 Promotion Pack, T-shirts, badge, and key chain. You can also email CMD questions to children@wmu.org.

We look forward to seeing you on the Home Team!
